Yvonne qualified in Germany in 2005 as Zahnarzt (ZA) which is the German equivalent to the British BDS.
She has been working in Scotland ever since. Yvonne owned our practice in Callander for five years but decided to focus solely on dentistry again and now works as dental associate.
She provides all fields of dentistry and enjoys focusing on the less invasive options to give her patients a long term functional and comfortable healthy mouth.
Yvonne employs the latest technologies using intraoral scanners and digital dentistry to provide crown and bridge work which is high in its accuracy.
She has several years of experience in restoring implants.
Yvonne is a member of the BSDSM (British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine) and provides various types of Antisnoring and/or Sleep Apnoea appliances.
One of Yvonne’s particular interest lies in clear aligner therapy, such as Invisalign, which uses clear removable aligners to help relieve crowding, misalignment or spacing of teeth in adults and teenagers as an alternative to fixed braces.
Invisalign can be used as stand-alone treatment to improve the position of teeth or combined with composite bonding or SmileFast to enhance the aesthetic outcome.
Moving teeth and making them straighter has not only aesthetic purpose but can improve the overall oral health. Moving teeth out of less favourable positions, will make them easier cleanable and therefore can reduce the risk of gum disease and caries. Sometimes teeth can be poorly positioned and are at risk of increased wear or chipping. Moving these teeth into a more harmonic position can keep them stronger and help improve your overall bite.
With SmileFast she can create smile makeovers using composite bonding or ceramics showing you a digital smile design and trial smile previews in the planning process.
In her free time Yvonne plays the fiddle and enjoys hiking and exploring the hills.
Brought up in Sheffield, though Glasgow born, Paul has enjoyed living and working in the Scottish Borders for over 30 years. For a period of time, he worked in Marks and Spencer’s Head Office in London in the staff dental department. My time doing voluntary work in Tanzania, training health workers to provide much needed basic dental care in rural areas, was both memorable and hugely satisfying.
Paul joined the practice at Duns in 2016 and draws on his 30 years of clinical experience to provide a very wide range of dental treatment, delivered with care, including the use of layered natural looking fillings. He is passionate about the need for preventative care and good home care to maintain healthy teeth and gums. He has completed further training to provide Invisalign clear braces and to restore dental implants.
Outside work he can be found most often in his garden including growing many and varied fruit and vegetables, loves to cook, enjoys woodworking and any other form of DIY. He enjoys his skiing, has travelled widely and loved his time in South America but is now more focused on walking holidays.
My name is Sebastian Mylchreest and I am one of the Dentist’s here at Infinityblu. I grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Dundee for university. Both at school and at university my passions were football and playing a variety of instruments for bands and orchestras. My hobbies now include golf, travelling and keeping our overweight cat on a diet! My parents still live in Edinburgh whilst my sister works in Leeds for a fantastic charity.
After graduating from Dundee university with distinction nearly 10 years ago I worked first in Dundee and recently in St Andrews. I’ve completed the prestigious Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, gained a certificate in periodontal surgery through Perioacademy and am a member of the Association of Dental Implants and the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Glasgow.
Having worked in a private practice for most of my career and being part of two teams that have won prizes for ‘Best Digital Dental Practice’ in Scotland, my aim is to provide you with the very best that dentistry can offer, in the most comfortable and predictable way, often showing you before we’ve started what the end result will be. All of this is in efforts to keep you firmly in control of your treatment with us.
Testimonials from happy patients:
“I found the whole visit pleasant, professionally excellent and thoroughly to be recommended. I was very impressed by the manner of Sebastian, my dentist, and his ability to relate to my own needs and wishes.”
“Regular patient for many years. Fully endorse excellent high quality patient-oriented service. Latest visit again fulfills, exceeds expectations. I'm a retired medic and can judge the skill with which Seb works. Wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.”
“For someone who quite frankly has a phobia of dentists Sebastian puts you at ease and the (if this is possible) most pain free experience. Highly recommended.”
“Seb made me feel really comfortable and picked up things that no other dentists have previously. He has gone above and beyond so far to help me out with all my dental needs. Would 100% recommend”
