His vision was to create a dental brand that offered more than routine care—a place where patients felt listened to, respected, and part of their own treatment journey. Alan is originally born in St Andrews in Scotland. Alan qualified as a pharmacist before converting to dentistry with a BDS from the University of Aberdeen, giving him a holistic and systematic approach to treatment that has been enhanced with further postgraduate training.
In 2017, he undertook a year-long post at the well-respected Glasgow Dental Hospital and Paisley’s Royal Alexandria Hospital, where he was mentored by some of the country’s leading specialists in restorative dentistry and gained valuable experience working with nervous patients.
Alan has continued his professional development with highly-regarded and forward-thinking dental specialists from the UK and the United States to ensure his patients benefit from the latest, clinically-proven treatment options.
Alan has over 7 years’ experience in both NHS and private practices in Glasgow, Central Scotland and Galashiels and trains newly qualified dentists on prescribing and medical conditions management for NHS Education For Scotland.
In his spare time, you will find Alan in his local woods on his mountain bike, or camping with his wife Lisa and 6 year old son, Jenson.
Hello, I’m Blair and I am a dentist here at Infinityblu. I grew up in a small village called Milton of Campsie on the outskirts of Glasgow.
I graduated in 2017 from the University of Glasgow after 5 years of study. I have worked in general dental practices in Lanarkshire and Ayrshire over the last 7 years, providing both NHS and private treatments. I moved to the area from Glasgow in July 2024 with my wife and I look forward to exploring the borders and beyond.
I like to get to know all of my patients, addressing any queries and concerns they have. My aim is to deliver high quality dentistry in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Over the years as a dentist, I have developed skills in aesthetic dentistry. This has allowed me to offer clear aligners to straighten the teeth and cosmetic treatments improve appearance and function of the teeth.
Football has been a hobby of mine since childhood and my weekends are filled with watching the pro’s or playing amateurs myself (very badly).
I have also recently got into triathlon with a few races booked over the next few months.
Originally from Manchester, but trained in Dundee, I have worked in the Scottish borders since 2016 in general practice as an associate. I enjoy traveling (especially Greece) and good food and looking after my cat Mitsy. I also enjoy being artistic if I have the time, such as painting.
My name is Sebastian Mylchreest and I am one of the Dentist’s here at Infinityblu. I grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Dundee for university. Both at school and at university my passions were football and playing a variety of instruments for bands and orchestras. My hobbies now include golf, travelling and keeping our overweight cat on a diet! My parents still live in Edinburgh whilst my sister works in Leeds for a fantastic charity.
After graduating from Dundee university with distinction nearly 10 years ago I worked first in Dundee and recently in St Andrews. I’ve completed the prestigious Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, gained a certificate in periodontal surgery through Perioacademy and am a member of the Association of Dental Implants and the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Glasgow.
Having worked in a private practice for most of my career and being part of two teams that have won prizes for ‘Best Digital Dental Practice’ in Scotland, my aim is to provide you with the very best that dentistry can offer, in the most comfortable and predictable way, often showing you before we’ve started what the end result will be. All of this is in efforts to keep you firmly in control of your treatment with us.
Testimonials from happy patients:
“I found the whole visit pleasant, professionally excellent and thoroughly to be recommended. I was very impressed by the manner of Sebastian, my dentist, and his ability to relate to my own needs and wishes.”
“Regular patient for many years. Fully endorse excellent high quality patient-oriented service. Latest visit again fulfills, exceeds expectations. I'm a retired medic and can judge the skill with which Seb works. Wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.”
“For someone who quite frankly has a phobia of dentists Sebastian puts you at ease and the (if this is possible) most pain free experience. Highly recommended.”
“Seb made me feel really comfortable and picked up things that no other dentists have previously. He has gone above and beyond so far to help me out with all my dental needs. Would 100% recommend”
Robyn started her career as a dental nurse in 2005, gaining her SVQ in dental nursing in 2007 and her radiography certificate in 2009. She went on to train as a dental therapist in Inverness and graduated in 2014. She completed her vocational training year in Duns and was delighted to stay on at the practice afterwards.
Robyn loves her job and has now worked at the Duns practice for over 8 years. Most patients will be used to seeing her for their hygiene appointments, however Robyn also does lots of children's appointments for fissure sealants, fillings, extractions, and you'll most likely be referred to her if you have our "special moments" package of air polishing and tooth whitening.
She lives with her husband Ryan, son Max and cat Remy in Kelso and enjoys reading, Disney trips and seeing her favourite bands live.

Julie started dental nursing in 2007 and went on to gain her Dental Nurse qualification in 2011. She thoroughly enjoyed her training, which spurred her on to continue with further education, and she then gained an HNC in Dental Nursing. She is currently one of four students working towards an HND in a pilot scheme at Dundee Dental Education Centre, where she is learning about practice administration too.
Julie joined Infinityblu in July 2016 and has enjoyed becoming part of a team that prioritises patient care and a high standard of dentistry. She became the Practice Manager of our Pitlochry practice in March 2017 and has gained extensive experience in the daily running of the practice.
Julie is a happy, outgoing person and it is these qualities which help to maintain Infinityblu’s friendly, yet professional atmosphere.
Outside work, Julie enjoys running, swimming and socialising with friends and family. She has recently bought her first home which she is currently renovating – which seemed like a good idea at the time! She is also in the midst of planning her wedding, which leaves her with little time for anything else.
